When seas are swelling and winds are whirling it takes a skilled hand to guide a sailing ship and maintain a steady course. Uthuno comes from a Greek word which means ‘to lead or guide straight’ with the connotation of a helmsman steering a ship. Uthuno seeks to be a voice, as described by Isaiah the prophet, crying, “make straight the way of the Lord.”
